Get ready for an enriching experience of relaxation and rejuvenation at The Palms Health and Wellbeing's Open Day on Saturday, November 18th. We are organising an open day of Mini-Treatments from 10 am to 5 pm at The Avenue, Gorey. We invite everyone to join us in our endeavour to promote wellness and health. Whether you are a regular visitor or a first-timer, our doors are open for all.
Mini-Treatments
Our Open Day is an opportunity for you to experience a range of mini-treatments designed to rejuvenate your body and mind. Our experienced therapists will be offering various treatments that focus on stress relief, relaxation, and overall wellbeing. Trust us to take care of you and provide an unforgettable wellness experience.
Workshops and Talks
But that's not all! Our Open Day will also host a series of workshops and talks aiming to promote a healthier lifestyle. Our team of experts will be sharing their knowledge and insights on various topics related to health and wellness.
Yoga and Meditation
Apart from the treatments, you will also get an opportunity to participate in yoga and meditation sessions. These sessions will be guided by our skilled instructors and are designed to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing. If you've never tried yoga or meditation before, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a try!
Teas and Coffee
Throughout the day, we will be serving teas and coffee to all our guests. Take a break between the treatments and workshops, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and get to know other attendees. It's a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your interest in health and wellness.
Donations
The event is €20 to attend, with all proceeds going to Wexford Rape Crisis Centre. We believe in giving back to the community and supporting vital services. Your generosity will make a significant difference in providing counselling hours.

Wexford Rape Crisis
RCCs provide a safe environment where survivors of sexual violence come first. All staff and volunteers deeply understand both the realities of sexual violence and the impact of all forms of sexual violence. Survivors’ reactions are viewed as normal responses to trauma and to coping with the aftermath of trauma.
All staff and volunteers are trained in the reality and extent of sexual violence. In supporting survivors through helplines, advocacy, counselling, medical or legal processes, RCCs understand the need to maintain confidentiality.
The intention of RCCs is to return the control that was taken during any experience of sexual violence. This has been described as the survivor/recovery model. RCCs provide real choice to medical or diagnostic models often favoured by state agencies. In the RCC response the emphasis is on promoting well-being, the focus is growth rather than symptoms and defects. The survivors coping strategies are explored in terms of their usefulness.
